The Aerofix Aviation Academy - TU Sofia Dual Diploma integrates the EASA Part 66 Modules required for B1.1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician licensing with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from TU Sofia.

1. Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (LAMT)
A Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (LAMT) is a multifaceted professional—part technician, troubleshooter, manager, and safety guardian all in one.
You will begin your career in Base Maintenance (in a hangar), mastering the intricate systems of the technologically advanced aircraft operated by airlines worldwide.
For those who thrive outdoors, once you've built the necessary knowledge, skills, and earned your managers' trust, you can transition to Line Maintenance. There, you'll tackle demanding physical challenges in all weather conditions, working under time pressure with full responsibility for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft carrying hundreds of passengers.
If you remain in a hangar environment and thanks to your double diploma you will also be fast-tracked into a CAT-C level, where you will be able to certyfy the airworthiness of the whole aircraft after performing a heavy maintenance programme.

Build up your EASA Part 145 working experience
Complete your EASA experience logbook at Aerofix Technics or any of Aerofix Aviation Academy's partner MRO's.
Complete your EASA Part 145 working Experience and get your EASA Part 66 B1.1 & B2 License
Subject to your actual EASA Logbook experience.
Type Rating
Obtain a type rating with Aerofix Technics to be able to certify the release of maintenance tasks.
